The Ladies Pavilion

The Ladies Pavilion was originally built in 1871 as a shelter for trolley passengers waiting to board the boats that once plied the lake. The pavilion was designed by Calvert Vaux, one of the architects responsible for designing Central Park, and was originally called the "Shelter for Ladies." It was moved to its current location in the 1950s and underwent a restoration in the 1990s.

The Ladies Pavilion is designed in the Victorian style and features intricate wrought iron details and a wooden shingle roof. Its picturesque setting on the lake, surrounded by trees and lush greenery, make it a popular spot for wedding photos, picnics, and quiet moments of reflection.
